I can email one also if requested. Home page: www.wpr.petfinder.com Jenna was a stray in a small town in NE Iowa. Her time was up at their local vet office so she is now with Waverly Pet Rescue. She is now up to date on shots, tested heartworm negative, and spayed. We are full so she is being boarded at the vet office until we find her a foster home. If you would like to foster Jenna, please send me an email. Waverly Pet Rescue pays all vet bills. Foster home provides indoor home, training if needed, love, kindness, food, and water. Knowing you helped save a life...priceless. Here's a little update on Jenna! Oh my Jenna! Jenna is a young dog, maybe not even a year old or just a year. She is smaller and weighs about 40 pounds. She has all the energy that a puppy would and she is just happy happy happy. She has not been aggressive with our dogs at all. In fact, she almost goes the other way and wants to just love them and play with them all and all the time. She likes to play with our 4 month old pup but almost plays too rough with them at times. She just needs to learn how to play nicely and we will work on that with her. We have started house training her using the crate method and so far she has kept her kennel clean. She kennels easily, especially if a dog biscuit is involved. She has been quiet at night and seems to enjoy being kenneled in the same room with my other dogs. She travels pretty well. She sat in her kennel the whole time chewing on a rawhide while we brought her home. She is a typical pup that needs structure and training but is already a sweetheart and likes to sit on my feet and be petted. And how can you not love those ears! 2/21/12 UPDATE: Jenna has improved a great deal. When we first picked her up from the vet, she was called the "wild one" and preferred pottying inside rather than outside. It is amazing what a routine and some exercise can do for a dog! Jenna still has alot of energy but she has calmed down quite a bit. She just loves to run. She has learned the boundaries of our acreage and pasture and has never even tried to stray outside of them. She will run loops around the pasture and she is fast! None of my other dogs can catch her. She has bonded with my two 4 month old pup and will play with him constantly. She gets along okay with the other dogs. What I have noticed about her is she is not outwardly aggressive but instead is reactive. In the beginning, she was so eager to meet everyone and would try to climb on each dog. When my alpha dogs growled to let her know to back off, she would react instantly and try to pick a fight. She does not back down easily. We have been working on this and I have been able to divert her attention if I feel she may be headed for aggressive behavior. This behavior has only been towards my older, crabbier dogs and was a reaction to their initial behavior. She would probably do best with a mellow, nonaggressive dog. She seems to be very loyal and has become very loving towards me and my husband, almost possessive of us. She is very smart and learned her name very quickly. She will sit for a treat. She is kennel trained and we are slowly allowing her more free time in the house. She still needs to learn indoor manners as she is very curious about everything and wants to check out what is on top of the counters, etc. It is obvious she has never been allowed inside before. She kennels very easily and is quiet all night long. She will bark at you when you are getting ready to let her outside but that is it. She really is a sweetheart and with some more training is going to make someone a great pet! 2/28/12 UPDATE: Jenna is a young dog, maybe not even a year old, so she does need plenty of exercise. She loves to run so this would be a plus for you. She is obsessed with playing ball. If you had access to a park you could throw the ball for her and she would fetch it for you for as long as you would throw it. We probably exercise her for an hour each day. Without that she gets pretty restless. We kenne
