White medium haired female with Patched Tabby markings - similar to the markings of the Turkish Van... Color on the face with a white blaze that goes up to the base of the ears, with a tail that is full color, and spots on the body. She had some really cute ear tips, too - make her ears look really TALL. Approx. birthday is 5/14/14 UPDATE 8/9/14: Sprinkles is the SWEETEST little girl - LOVES attention and talks to you all the time! Just a darling girl who enjoys other kittens and gets along with the adult cats in the foster home, too! KID TESTED - MOTHER APPROVED, too! Very playful and loves chasing the laser light - so cute to see her going round-n-round in circles to catch that little red light! Sprinkles and her 2 littermates - Sweet Tart and Gummi Bear - were found in the backyard woodpile of a family in a small rural town in NE Iowa, apparently dumped in their yard as they had never even seen stray cats around, let alone a pregnant one or one with kittens! There were 5 kittens all together, two about a week older and three who were younger and the littlest ones obviously needed medical treatment for sore eyes and an upper respiratory infection. The family lovingly cared for them and had tried to get them into a vet because they knew that one of the kittens badly needed seen by a vet for its' extremely infected eyes, but they couldn't get them in for several days. In desperation, they emailed WPR and asked for help, and were thrilled and relieved when we were willing to take the 5 kittens and find them loving homes. They were all immediately taken to the vet office and were given medication for their URI's, were given ointment to apply to their very sore eyes, and treated for parasites as well. Within a few days they were well on their way to a full recovery! Sprinkles had the most severely infected eyes upon arrival, and the poor little girl couldn't even open her left eye and the right eye could only open slightly. She had to have been miserable, yet she purred - as if to thank THANK YOU. She is a beautiful Patched Tabby and white - her patches look similar to Calico coloring, but because they have tabby markings in the color spots and are not just a solid black or orange, this type of fur coat is known as the Patched Tabby. Now that she feels better and can actually see (altho sometimes here eyes still water somewhat so her foster mom is still putting ointment in them occassionally), she is quite affectionate and absolutely LOVES attention! She is the largest of the three as well! Just a very sweet girl who deserves to be loved and cherished - and she's ready for her new family to take her home!! These three kittens are absolutely adorable and purr at the drop of a hat! Extremely playful and full of typical kitten mischief and shennanigans! It is always highly recommended that kittens be adopted in pairs, as it gives them someone to rough house with and get out some of that natural kitten aggressiveness, and also gives them a companion to snuggle with, or just have another furry friend in the household! If you have room in your heart, your home and your budget, please consider adopting two kittens together! Sprinkles' adoption fee is $75.00. She is spayed and has had her rabies vaccination & first two FVRCP vaccinations, been treated for parasites and tested negative for FeLK/FIV.
