In the short time they had them, they were both front-paw declawed. Christopher's foster mom said he is just as friendly and BIGGER than he was when he lived with her previously! He's almost too big for his bed, which she still had! Won't you give this sweet boy - and perhaps his sister, too - the FURREVER home they deserve this time??? Christopher's adoption fee is $50.00; he is VERY BONDED with his sister, Julia Ann, and we prefer these two be adopted together... $100 adoption fee for both. THey are both good sized kitties and make quite a presence together - both are very statuesque! Gorgeous coats on these two as well... just beautiful! ......................................................................................................................... UPDATE 3/2/14... Christopher is now about 11 months old and altho still technically a 'kitten', he is one BIG HANDSOME BOY! He is actually quite large now and he definately has the sweet and innocent look, right along with the look of a powerful black panther! His eyes are a gorgeous gold / green color, and when he lays in a certain non-chalant, 'look at me now' type pose, you'd swear he should be laying high up on a tree branch in the jungle! Just a beautiful black cat!!! And he L.O.V.E.S. to be brushed!!! He and his littermate Julia Ann have been raised in a foster home with dogs, too, so if you are looking for a dog friendly kitty, you may have just found one (or two!) Julia Ann is quite bonded to him, so if you are looking to give a loving home to a pair of kitties, we'd love to see these two stay together... but of course it is not mandatory! Christopher... Domestic Medium hair... approx. 4 1/2 - 5 months in Sept. xxxx Christopher and his littermate Julia Ann were kittens who were caught in a live trap on a cat lovers property; thought to be feral, they were just scared and tamed down quite quickly! His foster mom says he is a very sweet boy who thoroughly enjoys being brushed! A typical playful kitten, he enjoys sleeping with her and gets along well with the other foster cats in the home as well. He has been completely vetted, tested negative for FeLK/FIV and has been treated for parasites. Won't you adopt this beautiful black kitten and give him the loving home he deserves? WPR is no-kill and this sweet boy will stay with us until he is adopted, unlike many shelters where black cats are more often than not euthanized simply because of their color, and aren't even given a temperament assessment before doing so. Black cats are just as loving, just as sweet, just as playful and precious as any other kitty... sometimes even more so! Please don't judge them for their coat color... get to know them for their personalities and you just make be surprised at how attracted you will become to these little black beauties!
