Honolulu - Patched Tabby and White; medium hair; FEMALE - completely vetted Honolulu was live trapped in NE Iowa in the early fall xxxx as a young kitten. She is still a bit skittish until you pick her up, then she will snuggle and purr, and she does enjoy riding up on your shoulders! She has always been a bit more quiet than most kittens; still somewhat shy, she has a very gentle personality. She plays so gently with the little red laser dot, she doesn't attack it, she just gently touches it with her paw - so cute - as if she's afraid she'll hurt it! She may be shy with humans, but she has never met another kitten/cat that she doesn't like - she is a BUDDY to every/any feline she has crossed paths with in her foster home! She truly would make a wonderful companion for another kitty who also likes other cats! She plays gently with others, has never gitten into a tussle or fought with any other foster kitty, and in fact, loves to play with other cats - not aggressively - just with a very soft touch!! She is a beautiful Patched Tabby and white - altho some may call her a Calico - but in the 'cat world,' when kitties have tabby marking in their color spots, they are called Patched Tabbies. Her guess-timated birthday would be late July xxxx. She has been spayed, is UTD on all required vaccinations and tested negative for FeLK/FIV. Honolulu is ready to be out of a foster home and into your home 0 her FURREVER home ... where she can be part of a loving family! I'm sure once she gets into her new home, her true personality will shine when she gets used to everything around her! She plays a lot more delicately than most kittens - but to some, that may be a bonus because kittens can be pretty wild! She is a sweetheart, though, and a very pretty kitty! She will cuddle and purr once you pick her up, but for some reason, her first instinct used to be to hiss... but her foster mom had gotten used to that as just being her 'HELLO' greeting, as opposed to the other kittens scrambling to get the first scratch and lovin'... we all know each kitty can be as different as night and day with their personalities, as can humans - but perhaps she will blossom and her true, sweet, loving personality will shine through when she meets HER PURR-SON... could that be YOU? Come visit Honolulu and see if this beautiful girl gives her heart to YOU upon first sight... you never know!!! 12/8/13 UPDATE: Honolulu has come a long ways recently as far as wanting attention from people! She is rubbing my legs now and wanting attention, and she wants to jump on me and get some loving... but she is a little anxious once she gets into my arms - she;d rather try to get up around my shoulders! She LOVES other kitties and has a rather gentle nature with them. Watching her play with toys or trying to catch the red laser dot is comical, because she is so gentle, it's like she's afraid she will hurt the dot or the toys! She would do well as a companion for any kind of kitty who enjoys other cats, as she is not aggressive at all with cats of any age, and actually seeks to interact with them. It would be wonderful if someone could adopt this beautiful girl and give her a chance to live in a home atmosphere - I think she may really blossom into quite the lovebug! And another kitty in the house would be the best scenerio for her because she relates better to cats than some people! If you are looking for a buddy for your cat - you may have just found one!!
